Funeral Service for Margaret Roseberry Wood will be at 11 AM Monday, October 28, 2019, at Smith Lake Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 10 – 11 AM prior to the funeral, Rev. Charles Johnson and Rev. Jimmy McClendon officiating, with interment in the Bethany Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood went to be with the Lord October 23, 2019, at the age of 80.
She was born Margaret Blake Roseberry on October 8, 1939 to James Julius Roseberry and Thelma Hilton Roseberry.
She is survived by her son – James (Bejeana) Wood; her daughter – Amy Wood; 3 sisters – Jane Williams, Edna Becker, & Susan (Phil) Carpenter; 6 grandchildren – Barrett Hudson, Zachary Wood, Ethan Wood, Gabriel Wood, Jessica (Cody) Harrison, & Blake (Savanah) Wood..
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Her Husband – Rev. Paul H. Wood; one son – Paul Henry “Chip” Wood Jr.; one sister – Chaffin McCall.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 5:30PM to 8PM at Smith Lake Baptist Church.
