Margaret Ramsey Powers, 89, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born on February 7, 1930 in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents: Stephen James and Agnes Swygert Ramsey; brothers: Charles H, Stephen J, John J, James D and Michael S. Ramsey and sister, Mary Ramsey Scarborough. Her survivors include her son, Phillip James (Jeanette) Powers; daughter, Laurene M. Powers Ford; sisters: Catherine Ramsey Fievet of Birmingham and Almaretta Ramsey Brislin of Huntsville; brother, Patrick S. Ramsey, Florida; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Benedictine Monastery on Saturday, February 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.
