Memorial service for Margaret “Peg” Norris, age 78, of Decatur, AL., will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00AM at the First United Methodist Church in Hartselle, AL, officiated by Rev. Mike Pope, Rev. Toby Chastain, and Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Church.
Mrs. Norris was born in Columbus County, OH, on October 1, 1939 to John Herbert Halderman and Dorothy Parsons Halderman. Mrs. Norris was a teacher for 24 years, where she also taught Sunday school at church. Mrs. Norris sang in the church choir, was a part of Bridge Club, liked to travel and loved her family and friends. She never met a stranger.
Mrs. Norris is preceded in death by her parents John Herbert Halderman and Dorothy Parsons Halderman.
