Ms. Margaret “Meg” Ellen Mackey, 42, passed away Wednesday, July 1st in Nashville, Tennessee. Meg was born in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from Huntsville High School in 1996. She graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Donna Mackey. Meg is survived by her sisters, Anne Mackey Bartholomew (David), and Mary Mackey DeArment (Donovan); and nieces and nephews, Paige Bartholomew, Brent Bartholomew, Drake DeArment, and Louise DeArment.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
