Margaret Louise Watkins Bradford of Taylor, MI formerly of Florence, AL was born December 27, 1922 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Oscar Perry and Myrtle Clark Watkins. She was united in marriage to Paul Austin Bradford and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1981.
Mrs. Bradford moved to Taylor from Alabama about 11 years ago. She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ, Taylor and Mt. Zion Church of Christ, Florence and enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening and loved to cook and take care of her family.
Mrs. Bradford departed this life on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Belleville, Michigan at the age of 92 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days.
She is survived by daughters, Shirley Olive and husband, Bobby of Belleville, MI and Kathy Williams of Taylor, MI; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, with one on-the-way, 7 great-great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Lester Bradford and 9 siblings.
Services will be Friday, August 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Church of Christ, Florence, Alabama. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN. Her body will be placed in the church one hour before the services on Friday. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, is assisting the family.
