Margaret Krebs Landmon (Meme) was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on January 1, 2017. She was 91 years old.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Minnie Krebs, her brother, Richard Krebs, and her sister, Betty J. Sanford.

Margaret was a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend. She leaves behind her son Wayne Landmon and his wife Wanda of Guntersville, AL; her daughter Becky L. Grega and her husband Drew of Huntsville, AL; two precious granddaughters, Jennifer Grega and Lindsay Grega of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Dorothy Hardy of Birmingham, AL; and many loving friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Margaret was a resident of Hoover, Alabama for 86 years before moving to Huntsville. She retired from the Jefferson County Courthouse at age 76. Margaret was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a devout Christian and lived her life honoring and obeying the Lord. She loved all people, and many of her spare moments were used to pray for those she knew, those she didn’t know, and to pray for every step in life she or her family and friends may encounter. Margaret was a God Fearing woman, and anyone who met her can attest to that.

Dr. Jimmy Jackson of Whitesburg Baptist Church will preside over a graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home will assist. Friends and family are welcome to attend. The graveside service will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. We rejoice in knowing that our beloved Meme is home with our Lord! “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9.
