Funeral service for Margaret Kelley, 96, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rev. Bill Lancaster officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Kelley, who died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Falkville HealthCare, was born Oct. 14, 1919, in Decatur, to Harvey Thompson and Octa Mullins Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Conner Kelley.
She is survived by three sons, David Kelley (Mary) of Athens, Joe Kelley (Joyce) of Decatur and John Kelley (Linda) of Athens; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
