Margaret Jean Austin (nee Coleman)
Margaret, our dear and beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, departed this earth on Feb. 12, five days after her Feb. 7 birthday. At that time, Heaven opened the doors to a beautiful angel who was the epitome of a faithful servant.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her son, Le’Bron K. Patterson; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Smith-Patterson; and her granddaughter, Natalie Alyse Patterson, all of St. Paul, Minn. Margaret also leaves to cherish her memory a devoted brother, Charlie Coleman (Dolores) of Jeffersonville, Ind.; three nieces, four nephews and several cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
Preceding Margaret in death are her parents, Charlie and Cleo Coleman; sister, Frances Poole; and special friend, Oscar Southard.
Services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 17 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Ala., with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. (prior to the service). Interment at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence. Arrangements through Thompson and Sons Funeral Home.
