Margaret Dean Hudson, age 74, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Hudson was born November 30, 1940 in Prospect, TN to Thomas Eugene and Lorena King Wright.
Services will be Monday, June 22, 2015 4:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Hall and Steve Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ for many years and then Wooley Springs Church of Christ until her death.
Mrs. Hudson lived and worked in Athens, AL first with the Credit Bureau of Athens owned by Benford Turner and later in the Limestone County Circuit Court Clerk’s office for twenty-six years with the Honorable Frances Rogers and the Honorable Charles Page, Jr.
Margaret Hudson was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Eugene and Lorena King Wright. She is survived by her husband, of fifty-six years, Bobby Hudson of Athens; son, Anthony Ray Hudson and wife, Elizabeth of Elgin; granddaughter, Katelyn Hudson Meadows and husband, William of Athens; great-granddaughter, Maggie Valentine Meadows of Athens; three brothers, Thomas Edward Wright of Clearwater, FL, John Allen Wright and wife, Shree of Pulaski, TN and Jimmy Ray Wright and wife, Sandy of Cullman; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jack Harwell, Will Meadows, Charlie Page, Tim Russell, Justin Sims and John Wright. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Wright.
