Margaret Camp Hargett, age 92, of Florence, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. Visitation will be Monday, June 5th from noon until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville with Reverend Robert Sparkman officiating.
She attended Southern Union College, now Jacksonville State University, and was retired with Social Security Administration in the hearing and appeals department, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Florence. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star in Jackson Mississippi.
Preceded her in death was her husband, A.W. “Dub” Hargett Jr.; son, Lawrence “Larry” Camp Hargett; parents, Cecil and Vera Camp; sister, Mildred Camp Maxwell; and granddaughter, Kim Johnson.
Survivors are her son, A.W. Hargett III (Judy); grandchildren, Karen and Matt Jones; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Luke, and Logan.
