Margaret C. Moore, 80, passed away Saturday. Born in Memphis, TN, she had lived mainly in Huntsville since 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Moore, Jr.; her parents, Joe and Virginia CaPece of Memphis; and her brother Phillip Edward CaPece of California.
She is survived by sons, Philip Moore III (Lynn) of Huntsville and Mark Moore (Donna) of Madison; granddaughter, Haley Moore of Huntsville; grandsons, Daniel and Jarrod Moore of Madison; nieces, Rebecca CaPece and Melissa CaPece Fairless; grandnephew, Bryce Fairless; and grandniece, Cassidy Fairless, all of California.
She served as a Cub Scout leader, little league mother and band parent. She was a co-owner of the B-Mar Poodle Palace. When her husband retired from NASA and Rockwell, they became members of the Huntsville Kennel Club and bred and finished 6 Papillon champions.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 on Tuesday, February 28th, followed by the memorial service at 1:00 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to cancer or heart charities. She will be interred next to her beloved husband at Maple Hill Cemetery.
