Margaret C. Benson, 89 of Adamsville, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 23 at her home surrounded by her family, who loved and adored her.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her servants heart inspired her to devote her life to helping others. She was a member of Living Water Ministries Church in Sumiton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Hattie Scott and her husband, Rev. Charles Neal Benson.
Survivors include her son, Tim Benson (Karla); daughter, Sheila Willoughby (Phillip); grandchildren, Misty Davis (Nathan), Felicia Willoughby, Charley Benson (Christi), Lacy Thomas (Seth) and Chase Benson; great grandchildren, Autumn, Sunny Ray, Shaylee, Emmie Lou, C.J., Malachi, Ethan and Eli; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, including her sweetheart, Bro. Thurman Plunkett.
Funeral services will be Friday April 28, 23 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville. Visitation is Friday from 12:30-2 pm at New Horizon.
