Marcus Durant Daniel, 64, died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Otho and Aberdeen Smelser Daniel. He was a farmer for many years and then became a truck driver. He attended New Union Missionary Baptist Church. His cancer fight was helped by Kc and Maggie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Rita Daniel, Red Bay, AL; three daughters – Lora Childers, Red Bay, AL, Julia Daniel Gilley (Patrick) Corinth, MS and Emily Daniel, Knoxville, TN; one sister – Sharon Joan Aday (David Russell) Huntsville, AL; one sister-in-law – Brenda Daniel, Russellville, AL; one niece – Amanda Daniel Ridge, Russellville, AL; and two nephews – Barry Daniel and Michael Aday, both of Killen, AL.
