Marcia Lynn Hutchins, 60, Sheffield, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Charlie James officiating.
Marcia graduated with the Sheffield High School Class of 1980 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Alabama in 1991. She worked as a nursing supervisor at North Alabama Medical Center. Marcia was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and was an avid gardener. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her life partner, Greg Creel; children, Toni Enloe (Eric) and Traci Thompson (Vic); stepsons, Wyatt Creel (Heather) and Matt Creel (Jennifer); parents, Ralph and Barbara Martin; brothers, Scott Martin (May Beth) and Michael Martin (Tara); sister, Donna Plunket (Mark); grandchildren, Kameron Lewis, Anna Claire Enloe, Reese Enloe, Carter Thompson, Carson Thompson, and Cyler Thompson; step-grandchildren, McKenzie Creel and Kayla Cannett; and best friends, Barbara McVicker and Robyn McGee.
