Marcia E. Wallace, 82, of Clanton died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, June 11, 1935 in Louisiana, daughter of the late Marcus Mitchell and the late Etta Lucille Ezell Mitchell. She was an office manager.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Wallace; daughters, Judy (Mickey) Atkins of Clanton, Jeaneen (Dan) Harris of Granbury, Texas and Joanne (Chris) Brown of Moulton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Donnie Mier of Houston, Texas and Emma Lou Crowe of Richmond, Virgina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Etta Mitchell; and sisters, Sylvia Davis and Nettie Rogers.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Reverend James Watkins and Reverend Eddie Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton.
