Marcell Carpenter Dean, age 80, of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2014.
Mrs. Dean was a native of Madison County and New Hope, Alabama. She and her husband were retired from AT&T and BellSouth.
Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Sally Zelma Ivy Carpenter, Harry Dine Carpenter, sister Doris Carpenter McGee, and husband Thomas Harlan Dean.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Dean Estridge (Ted) of Hazel Green and Donna Dean Waters (Danny) of Panama City Florida, Grandchildren Russell Waters and Kelly Waters Sweatt (Blake), Candi Back (Ricky) of Cleve’s Indiana, Kaye McGlothen (Chris) of New Hope, AL. Great Grandchildren, Wade Thayer, Blakely Lynn Sweatt, Hayden Sweatt, Piper Sweatt, Brianna Back, Brayden Back, Autumn Estridge and Andrew Studt. Brian Berry, nephew and special friend Johnny W. Lewis.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday January 12, 2014 at 2pm at Bethel Cemetery, Keel Mountain Road; New Hope, Alabama with Ricky Siniard officiating.
