Mr. Manuel Cruz-Olvera, age 81 of Fort Payne, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at his residence. He was born on October 21, 1944 in Mexico to the late Atenojenes Cruz & Guadalupe Olvera.
Funeral Mass will be 3 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his children, Leodegario Cruz, Rosa Ma Cruz, Eva Cruz, Manuel Cruz, Salome Cruz, Maria S. Cruz, Ma Felix Cruz, and Manuel de J. Cruz; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Favela De Cruz; and his parents.
