Man has to get to Cullman in a hurry – Police say he stole a car

FLORENCE – The Florence Police Department reports that a man was arrested in Cullman for allegedly stealing a vehicle from Florence.

Here’s what Florence P.D. has to say about the arrest:

“Florence Man Arrested in Cullman, Charged With Stealing Vehicle; Donnie Joe Bryson, 25, of Florence was arrested late last night in Cullman, AL. Cullman Sheriff’s Deputies located an abandoned Ford Excursion in their jurisdiction shortly before 3 pm yesterday. A records check found the vehicle to be stolen from Florence. While conducting their investigation, Bryson was located a short distance from the vehicle. He was taken to the Cullman County Sheriff’s office where he was interviewed about the vehicle. Evidence obtained from the investigation led to Florence Police Detectives traveling to Cullman last night where Bryson was arrested and charged with the vehicle theft. He was transported from Cullman to the LCDC where he is currently being held. The Florence Police Department wishes to thank the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this case.”
