WALKER COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Walker County has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:20 a.m. Friday, August 21, has claimed the life of a Quinton man.
Tevin J. Wilkerson-Wright, 29, was fatally injured when the 2014 Scion XB wagon that he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and a utility pole. Wilkerson-Wright was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on River Road near Barton Chapel Loop Road, approximately one mile east of Cordova, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
