Man Dies After Being Involved In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Gadsden

GADSDEN-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle traffic accident that occurred on Friday, January 25 that has taken the life of an Attalla man:

“A two-vehicle crash at 6:30 a.m. Friday, January 25, has claimed the life of an Attalla man.

Robert Lowell Hyland, 79, was killed when the 2010 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving collided with a 2016 Volvo Tractor-Trailer. Lowell was airlifted to Gadsden Regional Hospital where he later died. The driver of the Volvo was not injured.

The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 77 two miles west of Attalla. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
