Michael Meeks
CORINTH-Michael Meeks, age 24 of Cornith has been charged with two counts of Capital Murder in the shooting deaths of two in the Farmington Community that took place this past weekend.
The bodies of Archie Williams, age 50 and Janette Gray, age 56 were found just after 12:30 p,m, on Saturday, April 4th. The Sheriff’s department had been called to the home for a welfare check when they discovered the two murdered. A source in the Alcorn Sheriff’s Department say the two victims were actually killed last Wednesday but not discovered until the weekend.
According to authorities Meeks was arrested in Littleville and is now in the Alcorn County Jail being held without bond.
Investigators are still trying to ascertain a motive for the shootings.
