Mamie Elizabeth Kirby, 75, of Moulton passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. The family will schedule a memorial service at later date.
Born on September 18, 1947, to Jud and Mamie Watson Rollins, Mamie enjoyed going to the race track, fishing, crabbing, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children, Lisa Averette, Thomas Avertte, and Laura Zedov; grandchildren, Micki Jones, Monica Jones, Beth Kirby, Rebecca Kirby, Kayla Kirby, Gabby Kirby, and Rebecca Wren; sixteen great-grandchildren, Kaleiah, Symia, Jada, Audrey, Angel, Dom, Cadie, Aaron, Willie, Deontay, Kamron, Amber, Addie, Damion, Bentley, and Aubrey; two sisters, Jeanette McIntyre and Mary Edwards; two brothers, Robert Rollins and Donald Rollins; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Kirby; parents, Jud and Mamie Rollins; grandchildren, Johnathan Averette and Amber Averette.
