Malve J. Dockins, age 87 of Cordova, passed away Friday August 4, 2017. She was a member of the Argo Missionary Baptist Church and a retired restaurant owner.
Funeral arrangements will be Sunday August 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial chapel. Rev. Jay Trayal will officiate. Entombment at the New Horizon Memorial Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 1:00 pm in the chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lester Dockins; son, James L. Dockins; and eleven siblings.
She is survived by her children, Rita Garner (Eldon); Charles Michael “Ricky” Dockins; Joe Dockins (Linda); Dale Dockins (Gail); a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister, Ann Hester; and several nieces and nephews.
