Reverend Malcolm Woodrow Sylvester passed away peacefully at home Tuesday 31 March 2015 surrounded by his wife and family.
Mr. Sylvester was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1968 and served as pastor in several churches throughout his lifetime and was also a professional brick mason for most of his career. Mr. Sylvester was preceded in death by a daughter Alice Faye Sylvester.
Mr. Sylvester is survived by his devoted & loving wife of 62 years, Neoma K. Sylvester, 4 children; Patricia Clough (Mike ) of Columbia, TN., Malcolm V, Sylvester of Flintville, TN. and Tresa Butler (Tim) of Huntsville, AL., and Lawrence Robert Sylvester of Sioux City, CA., he had 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Spry Funeral Home on Saturday 4 April at 2:00 P.M. with visitation being Friday 3 April from 4:00 to 8: 00 P.M.
His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
