Malcolm Raymond Moore  Mr. Malcolm Raymond “Raymon” Moore, age 83, of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, April 23, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 03, 1940, in McMinnville, TN, was a retired supervisor with Carrier, and was a member of the Baptist church. He loved sports – he was a coach of basketball, baseball, and softball. He coached fast pitch and slow pitch softball in the 70’s and 80’s, coaching the ‘McMinnville Freight Line’ team and the ‘American Baseball’ travelling team. He won the 1982 city bowling tournament and was fondly known within his family as the bowler of his infamous ‘299 Game’. The Braves and The Tigers were among his favorite professional teams and he liked singing the Charlie Brown song. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Otis Lawson Moore and Minnie Belle Templeton Moore, his 1st wife Patricia Charmaine Luckenbaugh, and his children Kathy Ranker, Josie King, and Chad Sullivan.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Delores Moore, children Peggy Prifogle, Allen “Mongo” Moore, Jason “Hawk” Moore, Steve ”Beaver” Moore, and Teri Sullivan-Elmore (Robb), grandchildren Chuck (Leslie) King, Zack Cantrell, Hannah Cantrell (Crue) Shay, Andrea Prifogle, Haley Prifogle, Bailey (Taylor) Moore, Kaylee Sullivan, and Abby Sullivan, 16 great-grandchildren, and sisters Norma (Al) Hotchkiss and Tina (Phil) Fink.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Harry Green and Bro. Jerry Womack will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Moore Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to Relay for Life.
