Malcolm Lawrence Bosley went to be with his Lord on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, surrounded at that moment by his loving family in Huntsville, AL.

“Larry Sr.” was born Dec. 28, 1934, in Lansing, Michigan, and married his beloved wife, Joyce Bevier Bosley, on Jan. 7, 1956. During the two weeks prior to his passing, he celebrated his 80th birthday and his 59th wedding anniversary.

A veteran of U.S. Armed Forces, Larry was in route to deployment in the Korean War when peace was announced. Proud to have served, he fondly recalled gathering above deck with hundreds of other sailors and enlisted men to catch sight of California’s Golden Gate Bridge during their return voyage.
Larry graduated from the Metropolitan Technical Institute in 1962 and built a career in sales and customer service management, primarily within the electronics industry, and finally with the National Federation of Independent Business. His political beliefs were closely aligned with those of the NFIB, where he managed membership retention and recruitment for various territories in the Southeast. Larry retired in 2002 in Huntsville, where he had resided with Joyce since 1989.
