On May 31, 2025, Mal Son Davis, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away peacefully at the age of 75, cradled in the loving arms of her devoted husband, Scott.
Cindy journeyed to the United States from South Korea in 1975, accompanied by her husband, where they began their life together at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. With determination and grace, she pursued her studies in English and proudly obtained her U.S. citizenship in 1982. For many years, she worked on the assembly line at SCI in Huntsville until her retirement.
Cindy was a woman of many passions. In her spare time, she found joy in tending to her garden and yard, creating a sanctuary filled with beauty. Her playful spirit shone brightly as she adored spending time with her puppies and cherished moments at the Huntsville Senior Center, where she made lasting friendships.
Cindy is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Arthur Scott Davis. Their love story is a testament to lifelong devotion and shared joy.
Words cannot adequately express the deep gratitude we feel for the compassionate care provided by our Hospice nurses, whose kindness and support guided us through this journey. Their presence allowed Cindy to transition peacefully, surrounded by love.
A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the International Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama. In this gathering, we will honor her spirit and the love she shared with all who knew her.
As we remember Cindy, let us hold her memory close, celebrating the gift of her life and the faith that sustained her. She will forever be in our hearts.
