Makishia (Kishia) Dianne Rudd Maples passed away in Huntsville, AL on Thursday, January 19, 2023, with her family by her side. Kishia was born on January 27, 1981 in Huntsville, AL to Cecil Rudd and Regina Bolden. Kishia grew up in the Huntsville metro area. After high school, her diligence and work ethic carried her into various management positions and ultimately to sous chef, of which she was very proud. Kishia enjoyed the beach, hiking, cooking, and taking care of everyone around her, but her greatest love was for her children, as she adored them all.
MaKishia was preceded in death by her mother Regina Bolden and father Cecil Rudd. She is survived by her loving husband Jared Maples; her four children, Lecey Murphy, Dylan Murphy, Robert Maples, and Jonathan Maples; her siblings, Jason Strong (Holly), Dakota Lewis, Lea Anne Rudd Thompson, and Tabitha Hunter. Makishia was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 12:00pm. All services will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL.
