On Nov. 7, 2017, Dr. Mahipal Ravipati passed away unexpectedly. He practiced allergy and immunology for 21 years in north Alabama. Outside of medicine, he had an interest for everthing life had to offer, particularly astronomy, botany and ancient history. He was a wonderful father, husband, compassionate physician and an incredible friend. He is survived by his wife, Lakshmi Prasanna; and his two sons, Anand and Prasanth. He was beloved by all who knew him.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 3:15 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home, 2305 Memorial Parkway NW. A private puja and funeral for immediate family will be from 3:15 to 4 p.m.
