Maggie Kinard, age 78 of Haleyville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1947, in Haleyville, Alabama to Emit and Lucy Page. If you knew Maggie, then you know how much she loved and was proud of her three boys. She was a hardworking single mother who never let her children do without. Maggie loved Jesus, loved reading, and loved being a truck driver. Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where she will lie-in-state from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville. Brother Ricky White will officiate. Maggie is survived by her sons, Edward (Jennifer) Kinard, Calvin Kinard, and Joseph (Melanie) Kinard; brother, Jim Page; sister, Maxine Hamric; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Emit Page and Lucy Jewell Tidwell Page; grandson, Joshua Frank Kinard; and sister-in-law, Debra Page.
