 Maedean Allen, 74, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Southern Magnolia Estates, Golden, MS. She was born in Tishomingo County, MS and worked as a beautician. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, MS.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 27, 1 p.m. at Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS with David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband – Pat Allen, Jr.; four children – Angelia Wigginton, Debbie Yarber (Robert), Cindy King (Randal) and Ben Davis (Deb); eight grandchildren– Olivia Hill (Jay), Michaela Wigginton, Evan Yarber, Wesley Austin Yarber, Marissa Yarber, Joseph Howell, Brody Howell and Julia Davis; son-in-law – Rich Wigginton; brothers – Lee Hamm and Telford Hamm (Alice); sister-in-law – Carolyn Hamm and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Clettie and Vera Almedia Russell Hamm and three brothers, Clyce Hamm, Clovis Dewrell Hamm and Vinson Hamm.

Pallbearers will be Mark Chumbley, Joseph Howell, Brody Howell, Wesley Austin Yarber, Evan Yarber and Rich Wigginton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tn 38104, www.st.jude.org or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, www.cancer.org/donate.

A walk-through visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
