Maebelle Loftin, 77, of Hartselle, passed on to heaven while surrounded by her family at home.
She was preceded in death by her father John Will Story Jr, her mother Eunice Cash Story, and her brother Edgar Story.
She was born and raised in Newnan, GA. She has lived in Hartselle, AL since 1974.
Maebelle was a loving, dedicated mother, and wife. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed researching family history and Genealogy. She was passionate about her many plants and flowers. She had a great love of animals, especially her beloved dogs through the years.
Maebelle is survived by her sister Geneva Story Williams of Newnan, GA, her husband of 57 years, Joel Loftin, her son Michael Loftin, and her daughters Sharon and April Loftin, all of Hartselle, AL.
Visitation will be held at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, AL, on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. There will be a private family service with Bishop Wayne Nisley and Chaplain Rich Thompson Ministering. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery.
