Mae Willa Burroughs Talton, 70, of Huntsville passed away on July 22, 2019 surrounded byfamily.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Talton of Huntsville, two daughters, Karen
(Marc) Melillo of Huntsville, and Kelli (Rob) Peery of Winter Springs, Florida, and three
grandchildren, Lila Peery, Parker Peery, and Gianna Melillo. She is also survived by two sisters,
Ruby (Ben) Brannum of Owens Cross Roads and Ruby (Eric) Diaz of Owens Cross Roads, along
with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, O’Neal and Verna Mae Burroughs of
Owens Cross Roads.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at Maple Hill Cemetery
with Jerry Kilpatrick officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
