Funeral service for Mae Ilene Clark, 86, will be Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Stewart officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery near Eva, AL . Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clark died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1932, in Franklin County to Walter James Mathews and Francis Viola Baggett Mathews. She was a Baptist in her faith. She operated a residential care facility for Veteran’s with emotional problems, in her home, and was honored by the Veterans Administration. She also had a foster care program for adults in her home from the 1970’s to till mid-2000’s. She gave her life to care for others. She was preceded in death by her husband: Travis Arnold Clark, a daughter: Barbara Stewart, seven brothers and one sister.
