MADISON-The Madison Police Department released a statement on an arrest made on Wednesday, March 30 regarding car break-ins:
“On March 30, 2016, the Madison Police Department arrested thirty-two year old Christopher Wayne Dickey of Madison County for breaking into cars. He was charged with:
(7) Counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle.
(2) Counts of Theft of Property 2nd degree.
(1) Count of Theft of Property 3rd degree.
He was placed in the Madison County Jail with a $23,500 bond.
The Madison Police Department would like to thank local businesses and home owners for providing timely video footage that aided in the arrest. This arrest would not have been possible without the partnership between the Madison Police Department and the community we serve. We also recognize the efforts and diligence of our patrol officers who were instrumental in identifying the suspect.”
