MADISON-The Madison Police Department has issued a release on the arrests of three suspects in the Coral Court shooting that occurred on December 9:
“The Madison Police Department (MPD) arrested three individuals related to the December 9th, 2015, shooting on Coral Court in Limestone County.
MPD investigators determined the shooting occurred when the three suspects attempted to rob the victim of a quantity of marijuana. The victim was shot once in the leg by the would-be robber with a small-caliber firearm. As the investigation progresses, additional charges are anticipated.
The following individuals were arrested for…:
1. Tyler Taylor of Athens, 21 years of age, Robbery First Degree and Assault First Degree
Shakeema Goode
2. Shakeema Goode of Decatur, 24 years of age, Robbery First Degree and Assault First Degree
3. Juvenile of Decatur, 17 years of age, Robbery First Degree and Assault First Degree. The juvenile male is being charged as an adult; however, his name will not be released at this time.
All three individuals have been booked into the Limestone County Jail with a $30,000 bond each.”
