MADISON-On Saturday March 7th at approximately 7:00pm, the Madison Police Department responded to a robbery call at 365 Shelton Rd., Mountain Lodge Apartments. It was determined that three individuals had been robbed inside an apartment by three offenders. Two of the three offenders were armed with handguns. Madison Police believe the robbery was the result of a narcotics transaction and the apartment was targeted for this reason.
The three offenders have been identified by Madison Police and two of them are in custody. On Wednesday March 11th, Madison Police arrested 20 year old Dakota Myers of Huntsville and 19 year old Artavious Crutcher of Harvest. Crutcher was already in the Madison County Jail on unrelated charges from Huntsville Police. They have been charged with Robbery 1st and Burglary 1st. Their bond is $120,000.
