Mack Lee Nail, age 69 of Gardendale, passed away Monday January 1, 2018 at UAB Hospital. He was an avid Alabama fan, U.S. Army Veteran, faithful member of the Church of the Highlands, and a graduate of Corner High School and University of West Alabama. He retired from the Social Security Administration.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Pastor Greg Chappell and Pastor Tyler Vinyard will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12:30 pm Friday in the chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lauretta Nail; grandfather, William Thomas McCarty; grandmother, Kate Lee McCarty.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Judy Nail; children, Leigh-Ann Kennamer (Matt); Lauren Gurley (Justin); grandchildren, Elleson and Isla Gurley, and Jackson Willis Kennamer; brother, Tommy Nail; and a host of nieces and nephews.
