Funeral for Mable Lee Vaughan Hawkins, 77, of Moulton will be today, March 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with David Currie and Bill Pullen officiating. Burial will be in Shumaker Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hawkins, who died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 22, 1936, in Lawrence County to Garmon Vaughan and Maggie Wallace Vaughan. She was a homemaker and a member of Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jeffrey Wayne Hawkins; and one brother, Paul Vaughan.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Hawkins Jr.; one son, Tony Hawkins and Margaret of Trinity; one daughter, Patricia Hill and C.E. of Decatur; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Faye Graham of Hillsboro and Martha Preston and Sonny of Trinity.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Hawkins, Jami Hawkins, Brad Vaughan, Keith Graham and Phillip Graham.
