Funeral services for Mable Lee Pierce Rutherford were Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Charles Rutherford and Barry Cater officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Rutherford died Monday, Nov. 12, at Lawrence Medical Center. She was born April 15, 1925, in Lawrence County to Greer Pierce and Edna Long Pierce. Mrs. Rutherford was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband if 66 years, James Harmon Rutherford, Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Jamie Rutherford and Barry Rutherford (Vickey), both of Town Creek; three daughters, Judy Jeffreys (Dwight) of Hatton, Janice Hancock (Larry) of Town Creek and Joan Hood (David) of Moulton; two sisters, Hazel Steadman and Pauline Rutherford, both of Moulton; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jamie Rutherford, Barry Rutherford, Mario Jeffreys, Joshua Bryant, Chandler Rutherford and Landyn Rutherford. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Hancock and David Hood.
