Mable Evelyn Parker, 83, born August 24, 1934, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 30, 2017, at North Carolina Church of Christ from 10:30 a.m. -12:00. A memorial service will follow at 12:00. There will be a private burial at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elgar Parker; parents, Percy and Mamie Wright; siblings, Nathan Wright, Marguerite Holden, Emmett Wright, and Madgie Wright.
She is survived by her children, Elrhonda McCafferty (Tom), Melissa Perry (Robert), Sonja Rogers (Ricky), Kim Parker, and Katrina Henry (Vance); grandchildren, Erin Miller (Wes), Brooke Holt (Dax), Garrett Perry (Janelle), Alexa Perry, Laura Rogers Poss (Kyle), Lydia Slagle (Mark), Clint Black, Chelsea Pounders (Evan) and Rheagan Henry; great grandchildren, Parker Miller, Nola Miller, Helaina Holt, Cora Holt, Ezra Johnson, and Grayson Perry; sister, Mary Stutts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Carolina Cemetery Fund.
