Affectionately known as “Bucket”, Lynwood was a hard-working, good-hearted man, playful and full of jokes and laughter. After retiring from Huntsville City Schools, he spent his time caring for his home and exercising at the local Richard Showers Center with other health-conscious seniors. He was also a faithful member of the Blue Spring Church of Christ, where he served in the audiovisual ministry.
A native of Anniston, AL, Lynwood relocated to Huntsville after attending Thankful School and graduating from Calhoun County Training School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Mary Ann Curry, brother Lelas Curry and sisters Alberta Pilot Juanita McMillian (Buffalo, NY).
