Lynda Fay Gatlin, 80, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born on Tuesday, January 2, 1945, in Ardmore, Alabama to the late Mr. John Henry Ratley and Mrs. Dorothy Louise Choran Ratley.
She was a dedicated and loving wife to her late husband Mr. Leemon Gatlin Jr. She was of the Baptist Faith as well as a member of the Gideons International Auxiliary. Lynda loved her church, her work, and her family.
She is survived by two sons; David (Diane) Gatlin and Anthony (Teri) Gatlin, one daughter, Shari (Jacob) Haggermaker, two brothers: Johnny (Joyce) Ratley and Roger (Lisa) Ratley, two sisters; Kathy (Rodger) Craft and Sylvia Jean Sanderson, seven Grandchildren, as well as four Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL, beginning at 10:00 AM with Bro. Scotty Travis and Bro. Gary Heard officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, located in Ardmore, AL.
