Lynda Annette Kropff, age 77, of Waynesboro, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. Lynda was born on February 29th, 1948 to the late Arthur and Dorothy Tomerlin in Homestead, FL. Lynda worked for many years in civil service, at Homestead Air Force Base, Lackland Air Force Base, Elmendorf Air Force Base, and Scott Air Force Base, before retiring in Waynesboro, TN. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, camping, having a good time, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was of Church of God faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kropff; daughter, Rhonda L. Yaeger; brother, Arthur “Harry” Tomerlin.
She is survived by her children, Leah Coates (Larry) and Lewis Dowell (Liberty); grandchildren, Alex (Kalee), Ryan, Greg (Emily), Dillon (Lorrie), and William (Emilee); great-grandchildren, Franklin, David, Charley, Lily, and Dean.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, May 12th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Graveside Services will be held at Bumpas Cemetery on Monday, May 12th, 2025 beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Interment will be held at Bumpas Cemetery.
