Lyma G. Bunch, 91 of Arab, died Wednesday July 19, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Bunch was born March 27, 1926 in Marshall County to John Robert Bunch and Cora Elizabeth Pritchard. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Revere Copper and Brass in Scottsboro where he worked as a machinist. Mr. Bunch enjoyed bowling and loved to work.
He was a member of Union Grove First Baptist Church.
Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife: Margie Boyce Bunch; a son Gary Bunch and Jessica Long; his grandchildren: Robert Bunch, Richard Bunch and Shane Barnette; and his great grandchildren: Celia, Jonathan and Claire. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Sherry Bunch Barnette and his parents: John Robert and Cora Elizabeth Bunch.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday July 21, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Greg Narrell, officiating, Burial will be in Union Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday July 21, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, prior to the service.
