Lyle Van Lang, 43, of Guntersville, AL passed away on February 11, 2023 at his home.
He was born on November 16, 1979 in Arab, AL to LV Lang and Gloria Jean Gunter.
Lyle enjoyed doing many things in his life: fishing, four wheeling, and taking care of his two dogs, Blue
and Newt. Lyle was a very loving friend and family member. He always made sure everyone knew he
loved them and he was greatly loved in return.
Lyle was preceded in death by his father, L.V. Lang, grandparents Vance and Clara Lang, D.C. and Mavis
Gunter, uncles Charlie Harvell and Kenny Chesser.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Jean Lang, sister Janella Chenoweth, nephew Gunter Chenoweth
(Cayla), along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Guntersville Memorial Chapel from 12-2PM with
funeral service following. Burial will be following at Diamond Cemetery, Guntersville.
Officiating will be Brother Jimmy Flynn.
The pall bearers are as follows: Mike Chenoweth, Heath Pickett, Adam Ridgeway, Kevin Stokes, Patrick
Swanner, and Cory Wisiewski
