Luther Byrd Hatton, age 80, Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at his home. He lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral service will be Monday, November 12, 2012, 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Stanley Hargett officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Survivors include brother, Coolidge Hatton, Russellville; sisters, Claudie Speck, Russellville, Frances Flippo, Wetumpka, Ala.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Byron and Minnie Hatton.
