Mr. Luther “Billy Quinn Jr. passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at his home in Russellville, Alabama. He was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and a retired farmer, store owner, and auto repairman. A native of Colbert County, he had lived in Russellville for the past 64 years.
Visitation for Mr. Quinn will be today from noon until 2 p.m. at Bethsaida Baptist Church, Russellville, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. officiated by Brother Tony Gasaway. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sockwell Quinn; son, Randy Quinn; daughter, Wanda Quinn Bradford; brother, Hershel Quinn; and sisters, Marie Gray and Peggy Hammond; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. One great-great-grandchild also survives him as do numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Claude and Ruby Glen Quinn; son, Steve Quinn; grandson, Chance Vandiver; brothers, Curtis and Wayford Quinn; and sisters, Bernice Gasque and Jean Vandiver.
