Luna Louise Pritchett Hudson, 91, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2021, at her residence.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, AL. Rev. David Byrd will officiate.
Luna was born in Hodges, AL, where she grew up with her eleven brothers and sisters and where she also met her husband the love of her life, Lee Hudson. They were married for 59 years before his passing in 2006. There is nothing in this life that Luna loved more than her family. She also had a special love in her heart for others that was seen and known by all. She cared for (or mothered) many children in her home, encouraged others in good health as she served Weight Watchers for over 30 years and was always involved in her local church. Luna loved God with all of her heart and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Jasper, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Hudson; parents, Sterling Thornton and Elsie Lola Pritchett; siblings, Lucille Baker, Flora Vee Webb, Grace Farr, Connie West, WT Pritchett, LD Pritchett, JC Pritchett, Eugene Pritchett, R.C. Pritchett, Thomas Pritchett and Sterling Pritchett Jr.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Lee Hudson (Linda), Donald Lee Hudson and Linda Clement (Ronald); grandchildren, Paul Hudson, Christy Allen, Ronnie Clement (Amanda), David Hudson (Aubrey), Lauren Hudson and Ryan Clement; great grandchildren, Alexandra Hudson, Isabelle Hudson, Luna Jade Hudson, Avery Clement, Tyler Clement and Wesson Clement and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to, Northside Baptist Church.
