Lue Deen Pinkerton Perkins, age 91, of Collinsville, AL, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Taylor Springs Cemetery. Bro. Scott Stokes to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00 pm.
Lue Deen was born on July 1, 1930 in Lamar County, AL to the late Alvin Shelton Pinkerton and the late Lona Mae Barker. She attended Sulligent Schools. Lue Deen was a previous member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church in Sulligent. She was previously employed at McCoy Manufacturing and Sulligent High School Lunchroom. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and singing gospel music with her family.
